Face to Euro 2012 with Ukraine Upright Head
As one of the hosts, Ukraine clearly do not want to just ride through the Euro 2012. Despite losing the test match against Austria, Ukraine still looking at the 2012 European Cup with heads held high.
Ukraine's 2-3 defeat to hosts Austria in a match in the city of Innsbruck, last Friday. But coach Blokhin was not worried by the defeat. He believes his students are able to perform better.
Recognized that the 59-year-old coach, lack of motivation and lack of concentration of the players be the cause of the defeat.
"I'm not too concerned with the outcome. Even if we scored an equalizer, it will not affect my judgment. I
I can not blame the players for a lack of motivation. "
"All the players have to fight to the end. We just lost concentration due to fatigue. Given our current workload of the exercise" he said as quoted by the official UEFA website.
However, Ukraine does not want too long thinking about the defeat. Andriy Shevchenko was expected because the test match against Turkey last June 6. Leaving just a matter of days, Ukraine is optimistic that the game is able to show
better.
"We have no doubt that our team will play better," said Blokhin.
Ukraine are in Group D along with Britain, France, and Sweden. They will embark on a journey in the Euro 2012 against Sweden on June 11.
