Lukas Podolski appearance marked his 100th for the German national team in a special way. He scored one goal that helped Der Panzer win over Denmark.

It is also the fourth goal Podolski in the European Cup, where he created the previous three goals at Euro 2008. The only German players are packing more goals in the European Cup is Juergen Klinsmann with five goals.
