Prandelli: German & Spanish Favorite in Semifinal

Italy coach Cesare Prandelli, calling Germany and Spain as the favorite team in the semifinals of Euro 2012. Prandelli also hope all the players are ready for combat in the last four. Italy won a semifinal ticket after removing England in Kiev Olympic Stadium, Monday (25/06/2012) pm dawn. After a goalless draw for 120 minutes, Gli Azzurri defeated the Three Lions in a penalty shootout by a score of 4-2.



Germany, which beat Greece in the quarterfinals, will be the next opponent for Italy. This exciting duel will be held at the National Stadium, Warsaw, Thursday (06/28/2012) future. "German and Spanish favorites here," said Prandelli short, as quoted by the official UEFA website. When asked about meeting with German, Prandelli stressed the importance of fitness of the players to the game. He also believed that Italy could confer resistance against the British look like. "We are pleased, but we must be prepared to fight the Germans now. They have two days rest more. We need all the players fit and fresh," he said. "There's always attacking game against Germany. Germany is a great team, they make changes against Greece and was as tough. If we maintain the same approach, the same passion, I think we can compete," said the former coach of Fiorentina.
