French defender Patrice Evra claimed the absence of Wayne Rooney in the England camp is very beneficial when his team the two countries face each other in the inaugural match group stage Euro 2012.
England striker's two-game contra disanksi France and Sweden after receiving a red card for kicking an opposing player from the qualifying round. Evra also agrees that the absence of teammate at Manchester United.
"One problem is reduced to the French because we want to make a big impact in this tournament," said Evra.
"I sympathize with Rooney. This is a huge blow for England to lose in the first two games. But I'm not going to sit here and say sorry do not have to escort him."
"Rooney is tipet players you want on your team, he's not someone who wanted to make my opponent because I know the impact we would face," he continued.
"Now he's one of the world's best striker, so when you are dealing with a weak opponent to lose you should try to take advantage."
