UK thin victory over Ukraine and qualify for the quarterfinals with a status as group winners. For Steven Gerrard, this is the answer to all criticism directed against the Three Lions.

"This is a difficult group and the goal is to win it. Nobody believed in us at the beginning but we got the momentum at the right moment," Gerrard said as quoted by Sky Sports.
"I do not think it looks fantastic tonight, but we are united, complete the task and won 1-0 against a good team."
Britain was criticized for his performance in the related field. But Gerrard said if he and his colleagues have already answered the criticism with a win and qualify for the quarterfinals with the group winners.
"Previously we've been criticized because it may not develop, perform less well and we can take it. But you see the reaction."
"When you are criticized it is not fun and you have to react to the play better and I think that's what we do," the England captain's cap.
