Theo Walcott Family Fear Racism, Joleon Lescott Sympathy

Long before Euro 2012 was held, England fans already received warnings and threats from hooligans Ukraine Theo Walcott forcing families to stay in the country. They worry that would be targeted by racist hooligans action to force the host if it comes to supporting the Arsenal midfielder.

These conditions make Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott was sorry, because he thinks Walcott desperate need of family support when carrying the name of the Three Lions in four annual tournaments. "It's sad, they made the decision to not do anything about football. Walcott is a vital player in our squad. He'll play a lot of parties and has an important role in the team.

Sad family could come and support it," said Lescott. "I understand their decision, if they feel it would be a problem if he was there. My family did not leave, but it was not for that reason. They just do not want to go." The 29-year-old said, racism is not an issue in Poland and Ukraine if the authorities act decisively.

Lescott himself said he did not like racism continues to be a problem in football. "It's a shame we have to discuss this issue, but I think this will continue to happen. You can not remove it from the minds of people," complained Lescott. "Racism is a sensitive issue for some people. But if you finish early, I think this would not be a problem. On the whole, our country better. English is not as bad in other countries," Lescott end.
