Paul Scholes with the idea to talk with the England national team manager, Roy Hodgson, about the possibility of ending an eight year absence from the national team. Guardian said the Manchester United midfielder is ready to rejoin the squad if the manager is willing to take him to the
2012 Euro Cup.
Scholes quit the national team in 2004 after he was disappointed with Sven-Goran Eriksson who play in different positions to its original position.
