Ibrahimovic Still So Mainstay Sweden

Sweden has released their list of players who will take it to Euro 2012. AC Milan striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, will be captain and mainstay of the Blue-Yellow in the front lines. Unlike most other newly announced team shadow squad, the Swedish company released the final squad that they would use. Coach Erik Hamren has determined the 23 players chosen.



That a surprise is the inclusion of Johan Elmander in the squad. In fact, Elmander middle metatarsal injury. Problem is, Hamren sure Elmander will be recovered when the tournament begins. Young striker who shone at Feyenoord, John Guidetti, not selected by Hamren because not fit. Instead,

Hamren called Markus Rosenberg. Sweden will start the tournament by facing hosts Ukraine in Kiev on June 11. Other opponents in Group D are England and France.
